PM arrives at Ankara on 3 days official visit to Turkey

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif arrived at the Esenbõga Airport in Ankara today, on a three day official visit to Turkey. The Prime Minister was received at the Airport by the Turkish Federal Minister for Sports and Youth Mr. Akif Cagatay Kiliç, a senior Turkish Parliamentarian, and Deputy Governor of Ankara.


Two young Turkish children presented bouquets to the Prime Minister and Begum Kalsoom Nawaz on the occasion.


The Prime Minister is accompanied by Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Minister for Commerce Khurram Dastagir and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Mr. Tariq Fatemi.


During his stay in Ankara, the Prime Minister along with his Turkish counterpart Binali Yildrim, will co-chair the 5th meeting of High Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC).


Besides other engagements along with Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yidirim, the Prime Minister’s programme will include a meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.


PM will also visit the Turkish Parliament to strongly reaffirm Pakistan’s solidarity with the Turkish leadership and democratic institutions after the July 2016 failed coup attempt in Turkey.
