Ladies and Gentlemen!

Assalam-o-Alaikum

I am immensely pleased to review the Graduation Parade of 130 GD(P), 75 Engineering, 89 Air Defence Courses and Commissioning of  133 GD(P), 79 Engineering and 14 A&SD Courses.

I extend my heartiest felicitations to the young officers and their families. I also congratulate the trainers on the successful completion of the training.

I specially congratulate the officers who have won distinctions during the training. I am deeply pleased to know that cadets from Saudi Arabia are also commissioning, today.

I hope that they had a productive stay in Pakistan.

I wish them well in their future professional endeavours.

 Graduating Airmen and Women!

This academy has equipped you with the requisite training and skill to embark on a demanding career and the singular privilege of defending the aerial boundaries of our country. You should, therefore, endeavour constantly to make optimum use of this training with a desire to further enhance your professional competence. There are no short cuts to professional excellence. You must uphold the honour and traditions of your illustrious service. It is only through relentless commitment that you will excel and prosper. I advise you to fully devote yourselves to the honourable profession that you have chosen. I must say that there is no greater honour and prestige than choosing to defend and serve your country. PAF has a history of legendary officers whom you must emulate as role models. You can acknowledge the great heroes by following in their foot steps, which would be a just tribute to them.

Graduating Officers!

While you grow in your profession, you should never remain oblivious of the imperatives required of an officer.  As officers of this elite force, you have certain obligations to fulfil. You will be required to combine sound professionalism with qualities of good leadership.  Your subordinates will look up to you for inspiration and guidance. This requires an exemplary personal conduct, display of courage, determination and resolution on your part.

Ladies and Gentlemen!

Pakistan is a peace-loving country. We have strived for peace and would continue to play a responsible role in the comity of nations.

However, our enemy must know that Pakistan’s aerial defence (Inshahulah) is impregnable.

Pakistan Air Force is a capable and professional force and I am fully convinced that PAF would prove its mettle in safeguarding the territorial integrity of our country.

I once again congratulate you on this singular achievement of graduating from this prestigious academy. I am sure you would always come up to the expectations of the nation, and would make Pakistan reach the zenith of glory, Inshahulah.

May Almighty Allah give you the strength and courage to perform your duties to the best of your abilities.
