Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif offered Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at Jati Umra, Raiwind along with the party workers. On this occasion, the Prime Minister prayed for peace and prosperity of the country.
In a brief address after the Eid prayer, the Prime Minister said that we inherited the present problems from the previous government and we will have to surmount them with resolve, dedication and commitment.
He said that people of Pakistan have trust in the PML (N) government and the time will soon come when economy boosts up and Pakistan becomes a developed state.
Expressing his views regarding load-shedding, the Prime Minister said that under his government, the country is witnessing gradual decrease in power outages; and to overcome this menace, projects are being started with the cooperation of China and using indigenous resources.
The Prime Minister expressed his grief over the tragic incident in Quetta and prayed for the martyrs. He said that somber atmosphere prevails over the country on this Eid because of terrorism but we will be successful in tackling the law and order situation with determination
