chinese delegations from China Power Company and Chinese State Engineering Corporation called on Prime Minister

Delegations from Chinese State Engineering Corporation and China Power Company  called on the Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at PM House. The China Power delegation comprised of Mr. Liu Mingjiang,Chief Economist Power China, Mr. Wu Wenhao, President Power China,Mr. Pang Xu,Division Chief Power China Overseas and  delegation of Chinese State Engineering Corporation comprised of Mr. Chen Guo Cai, Vice President CSCEC  CEO overseas operation, Mr. Yi Wen Quan , President of 3rd Bureau and Mr. Zhang Xiao Jian , Vice President 3rd Bureau from and Mr. Tariq Fatemi,Mr. Musadik Malik, SAPM, Mrs. Nargis Sethi, Secretary Water And Power, SAPM on Foreign Affairs, Mr. Javed Aslam,SPM, and Mr. Shahid Ashraf Tarar, Chairman NHA from Pakistan’s side attended the meeting.

Chinese delegation from Chinese State Engineering Corporation apprised the Prime Minister about their interest in different infrastructure projects in Pakistan. Prime Minister lauded the role played by the Chinese State Engineering Corporation in building of infrastructure projects all over the world. The development of infrastructure is part and parcel for the vibrant economy of the country.PM added.

 He also told them that the government would facilitate the CSCEC in its ventures in Pakistan. Prime Minister also emphasized that more Chinese companies need to invest in the country as it is the need of the hour to revitalize the economy of Pakistan through bringing investment in the country.

Delegation from China Power described the different ventures undertaken by the company in infrastructure and development projects in Pakistan. Prime Minister was told that POWERCHINA is playing an active part in the energy aspect of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor including two 660 MW power plants respectively in Port Qasim and Gadani.They also appreciated the government’s efforts in vitalizing the economy of Pakistan.
