Today we are observing the 66th Death Anniversary of the creator of Pakistan, Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who breathed his last on September 11, 1948. Being a man of sterling character, he fought for an independent homeland for the Muslims of the sub-continent. He set an example of hard work and selfless service to his nation, which is a source of inspiration for every Pakistani.
On this day, let us express the resolve that the legacy of our Quaid is carried forward with determination. We must strive to fulfill Quaid’s mission of making Pakistan a model Islamic welfare state. Let us promise that in our individual capacities each one of us will serve Pakistan without any selfish motive and devote our energies to make Pakistan a great country, a land of people bestowed with freedom, equality and justice. This is the greatest tribute we can pay to the founding father of our nation.
